There aren't many avenues to get your script seen if you are an unrepresented writer, it seems. Coverfly is gone and the Nicholls is now run through the black list. The black list seems like the last place, do you feel its worth it?

I think whether or not something is worth it really depends on what value you want to get out of it. It's very unlikely that any contest is going to get you the kind of visibility that pushes careers forward. That said, I find that they're a great excuse to have a deadline, get a pulse on my work, coverage. I'll likely submit my next draft to the Black List to get a realistic sense of where it falls competitively, but I wont be looking for more than that.
The best thing you can do for yourself as a screenwriter is network, network, network. Apply for programs, find writer's groups, attend film festivals, make connections any way you can. Even repped writers I've talked to are still out hustling and advocating for themselves. You just have to put in the legwork.
