Hope this isn't a dumb question. For word count purposes: I know some styles require spelling out a numeral. My story has the number "180" in it, which will count as one word, but spelled out as "one hundred eighty" would count as three words. Just making sure it is OK to use numerals and not spell them out, so it would be one word? Thank you!

Yes, it would be acceptable to use numerals instead of spelling them out in your story. Good luck!
