Good luck finalists. The prompts are so free and easy, it's a nightmare! But if anyone can manage them, it's you guys!

30 seconds in and I have been seduced by a very bad idea indeed.

I've gotten 3 very cliche ideas so far, with my husband repeatedly telling me his idea. His is good. But I can't go with it because it was also good in that movie we watched the other day LOL

Wow. That is seriously wide open. As a Brit I’m only just waking up to them / seeing them now but there’s so much that can be done with these. Come back ‘diver / hallicination’, all is forgiven!

Right? Keeping my dialogue zippy and under five pages is difficult when my main character is a LONER!

Okay.  Those prompts were tough.  My first thought for Loner/Homemade was a Keatonesque silent movie comedy.  Then I realized how many points I would lose for my dialogue.  So I decided to sleep on it.  Woke up realizing that the loner can be the target, not the protagonist.
Started writing around 9:30 a.m., central time.
Uploaded the script at 1:30 p.m.
Done.  Now to quietly pace until late August.

Super tough! Sometimes specific prompts make it easier, I think. My first thought was "homemade" is an adjective, not a subject! But then I remembered the poor souls who got "utopia" in round 1 and counted my blessings.

Got the prompts at 11pm my time, stayed up til 2am coming up with idea and outline. Got up at 7:30am and started writing. Now at 3pm I've submitted, but intend to re-read it again later for errors and issues and re-submit if I need to.

After muddling through several weird ideas, I finally landed on one that created a spark, and I'm happy with the end result I think.
