I almost completely forgot about FF results until yesterday, which saved me the constant overthinking. Now that it's the day of I will be refreshing my email browser far too often in the vain hopes results show before 11:59. Anyone else joining me?

Yep. Just hoping that they land before bedtime here, I don't sleep well if I'm waiting for results.

I am actually going to legitimately be up until 2am EST, so for once I don't have to weigh out whether losing the sleep is worth it. (A pharmacy I work at is getting repairs done after-hours and they need a licensed pharmacist on the premises while the work is done, and it's a little bit of a dramatic thing with the repair guys, so I'm going to be awake and alert.) I'm really excited about this - I'm hoping I go through, but it's a pretty long shot. But I've loved the Flash competition the most of the last four or five I've entered.

Occasionally they come out early, especially in later rounds where there are fewer contestants... I'm sure I'll refresh obsessively until I'm tired, go to bed, and then look at the results at my regularly scheduled 3am insomnia session. I liked the story I wrote, because you know damn well this girl was not writing a hard boiled detective mystery and went a silly fantasy route. But trying to guess if one will make it past the semis is like trying to stare through the window into a dark room at midnight. More or less impossible to see...

I forgot about the competition until it popped into my head yesterday. Was just feeling weirdly burned out and kind of disconnected from everything shortly after my last round. I'm not expecting to go through this round, so I'm not too nervous about the results. Still excited to see who moves on though.

I’d die from shock if I got to round 4, so maybe it’s better I don’t. 😂

I don't expect to move on either but there are 3 in my group whose stories I loved, so fingers crossed for them (and everyone else). Hoping the results are soon, best all!

I can't recall having butterflies before results came out quite this badly before.
I have the tiniest hope that I progress into the next round that I can't quite squash because I did come in second on the last round. It could happen again...maybe. :) |

I have zero chance of advancing, but I'll end up checking until results anyway.

I’m feeling this vibe too. Is doom refreshing a thing?
