Taming of the Sandshrew

Two college kids return to their sleepy hometown for summer vacation, and in lieu of anything else to do, they individually quest to “catch them all” in the popular Pokémon GO app. But when TheSandshrew adds breaking and entering to her for-the-sake-of-the-game rap sheet, a whole new sort of encounter spawns between the pair of poké-crossed lovers.

Group 44: Comedy / a training center / a leaf blower

This is my fourth NYCM year. I've always dreaded getting Comedy as a genre. I knew I wouldn't dodge the bullet forever. It ended up being fun to write!
