Everyone wants to walk the red carpet, but would they want to if they knew its gruesome past? At a Hollywood movie premiere, a star's husband is given a lesson in history and tragedy.

Thanks to my beta folks. There's  a clue in the log line, if you know your classics......

Ooo, if you're talking Aeschylus, I'm definitely reading yours as soon as it goes up - well, allowing for the time difference!

I just googled Aeschylus....I had never heard of him.   How intriguing.  I love this forum!  I keep learning new things!!  I’ll look out for yours !

Have a snoop at Colm Tóibín's The House of Names - great modern re-telling of the story. Saw the story on the Beeb when I was a kid and have loved it ever since.

I'm so happy this batch coincides with the Christmas break. I hardly had time to read any round 1s but this looks like a great crop and I'll have the time for them!
Anyone at all in need of a read / languishing on page 5 etc, just DM me and tell me I sent me.

A Deal's a Deal

Will is staring at the biggest poker loss of his life, and down the barrel of a gun. He has exactly 15 minutes to turn both situations around.

Thanks Lisa! It's an odd one - I'm quite happy with my idea but I just don't think I left myself enough time at the weekend to do the execution justice.  And I'm pretty sure I'll be docked some formatting points... (you'll understand when I post!). Looking forward to your drama! (my most dreaded genre)
