I have read on your FAQ section that British writers will not be marked down for use of British spelling. However, I was wondering if we would be marked down for British use of punctuation. For example, British quotation marks around dialogue are usually singular quotation marks, and we also add the punctuation in dialogue outside of the single quotation marks, 'like this'. (Unless it's part of/ at the end of a complete, grammatically sound quotation). Will that be looked upon unfavourably?

Hi Mars,
While we do stress to the judges that this is an international competition and we have many non-US based judges on our roster, we will make sure to add this example to the judging instructions as well as the FAQs in regards to punctuation. Please let us know if you have any other questions or need anything else. Thank you for your message and best of luck!
