Are italics not allowed?

   I'm trying to upload my story on submittable and the italics aren't copy and pasting over. There also doesn't appear to be an option to change font to rich text. But the email says italics are allowed? Is anyone else having this problem?

	Yeah, I had that problem, too. I couldn't figure it out so I just left it! It kind of took away from a certain line in my story but I didn't see a way around it. If you figure something out, please do share! I'd love to resubmit if I have time.

	At least I'm not the only one haha. I'll probably just use quotations. Not quite the effect I'd like but it'll do.

	I was having the same problem but figured it out. 1. Save your submission as draft in Submittable. 2. Click on Submissions in the top bar of Submittable and go to Saved Drafts 3. Now you should see a formatting toolbar in the window where your story is pasted. Select the words and choose Italic. (You can also adjust your paragraph breaks too if necessary.) 4. Save draft again and your formatting should stay.
