There's nothing like a looming deadline to make me extremely productive... doing something completely unrelated and non-urgent. I don't have a story idea yet for my prompt (Sci Fi - hair salon - steering wheel) but I have made my budget for 2020 in Excel and have caught up on correspondence I neglected. Why do I do this to myself?? I need to write!

What are some ways you procrastinate?

I haven't done a single thing. I never usually write anything until the second day anyway

"I don't procrastinate," he said, typing up a comment on a forum on the internet.

Horror...like comedy is so subjective...what may scare me won't scare someone else and things that scare others don't bother me...oh...bother.

Yes! I suddenly like cleaning when I have a writing deadline.

I've written an essay, watched almost the entire WWII in Color series on Netflix, done the laundry, and made toast with Vegemite.

Also I've written four pages of the backstory, which will come in handy surely if I'm ever asked "what were you thinking?"

I am the same way. Especially since I hate my prompts and I have a single idea that I don't care for or know how to keep to 5 pages.

14 hours gone and I haven't written a word.
