I forgot my heat number but my prompt is Spy, Science Fair, an Imposter
I kind of had a premonition I'd get Spy.... so that's cool. I'm excited to get a new genre this time around.

I got 38 - Action/Adventure, incorrigible, a woodcutter.
I've never written action/adventure before but I have had almost no sleep for 3 days so I'm going back to bed. Im too tired to know what incorrigible means and am hopeful inspiration will strike when I sleep.

I got group 16
spy/a science fair/an imposter. Honestly pretty disappointed, I had spy in the first round. I'm new to this comp but I kind of assumed they'd try and give everyone a new genre. Pffff, never mind. It is not political satire and for this I am grateful.

Bad luck. With the groups being randomly assigned it's bound to happen to a few people, though.

I had Crime Caper first round, Suspense second round in last year's SSC. This year, Crime Caper first round, Suspense second round... The gods of the RNG are sometimes cruel!

You're right. And hey, now I have already written one, which is a better position than I was in in January!

Group 5. Suspense, a curator, a diploma.
Good luck to everyone moving forward. I'm certainly going to need it!

Uggghhhh....
Comedy / hand-me-down / a stepsister I find anything that has to intentionally be comedic very difficult to do. So not too happy about it. Very stressed out about a work project right now and not feeling particularly cheery. Hope I end up submitting!

Where is the genre guide saved? I see people referring to it often, but I haven't been able to locate it.
I got Action Adventure / Do-Over / Lackey Pretty middling prompt for me. It is not a genre that I would choose, but it's not one that I dread trying. The prompt hasn't inspired me as of yet, but at least I feel that these are three elements which easily fit together.
