Historical fiction, left for dead, a washerman or washerwoman.

Hmm... seems pretty grim...

Another fracking ghost story.

5 years. 32 stories.
28% of the assignments have been ghost stories.

Anyone have an idea how I can apply this skewed probability to the lottery?

Hells. Bells.

You've got this!!

Ayy hello group mate! I have to laugh at tropical - I live in the tropics but am currently visiting family in outback Australia and was in the mood to write something set down here... looks like NYC Midnight is saying no to that idea!

Question about spy: are we all doomed to write James Bond-esque stories? Or is it enough to have a character spying on another?

Ayyy!

Haha, no outback stories here! And I think it doesn’t have to be strictly spy on spy James Bond action but a single scene of one character spying unrelated to the plot might not cut it?
Straight from the source

Spy

A story that involves espionage, secret agents, or secret service organizations as an important context or plot device.

Historical fiction. Never thought I’d tackle that.

Something centered around a masterpiece with a navigator...this one will be more fun than my last one.

Better than my first round prompts, so I'll take it.

A fellow Group 30 comrade! Sup, heatmate.

Took me a moment to come to terms with ghost story (first time), but I did my typical word association game with the prompts for the past 30-45 minutes, and at least have a starting point (or perhaps it's the ending?). Now to either find how the protagonist ended up there... or where the protagonist is going LOL ... Wacko

Best of luck, everyone!

I got comedy / embellishment / a blood donor (group 24). Actually relieved as I found horror really challenging!
