Group 34. Selfish. Cosmetologist. And.. wait for it.... Another fracking ghost story. 5 years. 32 stories. 28% of the assignments have been ghost stories. Anyone have an idea how I can apply this skewed probability to the lottery? Hells. Bells.

Ayy hello group mate! I have to laugh at tropical - I live in the tropics but am currently visiting family in outback Australia and was in the mood to write something set down here... looks like NYC Midnight is saying no to that idea! Question about spy: are we all doomed to write James Bond-esque stories? Or is it enough to have a character spying on another?

Group 11. Suspense, quadruple, an auditor.
Initial reaction: okay, but struggling with 'quadruple' as a subject. (Also, I've just checked the genre definition and... The Hunger Games? Seriously, that's the best they could come up with for suspense?)

Group 5 - Suspense, a diploma and a curator.
I guess I get a shot at redeeming myself from the MF250, where I apparently bored the judges to sleep with a story that ended with my protagonist hiding in a closet. Link in signature! 🤷🏻♀️

I'm in your group! And I'm more in the "WTF am I going to do with this" space right now.

May I tell you how much I'd prefer to write a ghost story about a selfish cosmetologist than Romance/Impractical/A noisy neighbor (group 1)? Trying to feel grateful that I didn't get Political Satire, I guess... Edited by Vandy - 09 Apr 2021 at 12:40am |
