Ghost story, skin, asking for forgiveness. My fingers are crossed!

Great prompts, I can't wait to read from your group. Could be creepy or sweet, hmmmm.

Just submitted! Group 101- Comedy, Fresh, Touching Wet Cement. When I first saw those prompts I was like Confused but I love a challenge! I love my story- just not sure it’s “comedy” enough. Anyone else have experience with Comedy Genre?

Just submitted. Group 119.

suspense and-or thriller // looking inside a doghouse // split

I can't believe I turned something in so early and turned this around so quickly.

Was totally inspired. I love my story... and I don't often say that after one of these.

Fingers crossed the judges love it, too.

Just submitted - Group 14: Romance/reading a newspaper/scar

I wasn't enthused about getting romance again but I had fun. Went sort of hist fic (it's not technically hist fic within NYCM definitions but in a way, I think the fact the events are so recent is more surprising) and learned a lot as I did.

My prompts were Action and/or Adventure, wearing a helmet and the word 'gone'.
Had a blast, pounded out 250 with a fun and silly story and then remembered "action or adventure"..it was neither of those.

Restarted by typing up a stressful situation first and just followed where it led. Felt too easy and not my thing so it could be a total dud.
I'm going to keep the first attempt and turn it into a short story.
I've decided that my go-to genre is "Silly Story".

I got my least favorite genre (horror) again. Hopefully, I'll get to do comedy someday. Other prompts were "looking through a periscope" and "equip." Good luck to everyone.

I'm new to this but I got sci-fi which is my favorite genre to read. So I really lucked out and was able to knock something out and submit. Not sure that it's great but I feel accomplished just having finished something.

Hey all I’m sorry to ask this here but can anyone tell me what fonts are allowed for this contest? In the screen play contests it looks like they don’t allow times new Roman but in rhyming they did, just want to make sure this one I can do TNR.
