I cannot find anything on the format.  Is there a specific guideline for the formatting of the 100 word micro fiction contest?

There are some formatting guidelines to remember and they are below.  Please let us know if you have any other questions or need anything else.  Good luck!

TITLE -  A title is required to be submitted along with the story on the submission form, but it will NOT count towards the official word count of the story.

ANONYMITY -  The author’s name must NOT appear anywhere in the story.  The author will have an opportunity to put their name on the story submission form which is submitted along with their story, but it should not appear anywhere in the story itself.

PLAIN TEXT – The story must be typed or pasted into the story submission form, which is plain text.  All formatting such as fonts, bold, italics, or underlining, will be removed when pasting in the story submission form.

LENGTH The maximum length for each individual Short Story is 100 words.  The official word count will be determined by the story submission form, which is accessible to all entrants immediately.  The story submission form will not allow stories longer than 100 words to be uploaded, so writers are welcome to test out their word count anytime before uploading to see the official count.

SPACING - There are no rules regarding spacing, but anything over double spaced may make the reading experience a little more difficult for the judges.
