Anyone else in the forums have this heat? Submit a script?

Not all who wander are lost, not all who wonder without wisdom.

I did. I posted the title/logline in the "Sharing Loglines" thread.

It was a bit of a stretch for me, I was hoping for something more like Sci-Fi/Giant Zombie Robots.

I couldn't think of any "short" style story, the kind with a big twist, so I ended up with a more traditional romantic comedy structure crammed into 20 pages. Hopefully it doesn't feel too rushed.

I'll post the script when the script feedback forums are created. Hopefully others will, too, it will be fun to see how everyone approached the topic.

Yeah i felt kind of the same way, I'm pretty satisfied with the results though. Not my most original screenplay, not my most brilliant screenplay, but it's a cute little screenplay with some good parts and a nice character arc.

Not all who wander are lost, not all who wonder without wisdom.

I submitted on Thurs.  I'm a little bi-polar about my effort.  ... I will post the log-line.... I'm very curious to see everyone's scripts.  Congrats to all of us for finishing...

I competed last year, but had no idea that the forum existed.  I was a bit daunted by the 1 week task and sort of had tunnel vision about the deadline.  This year, I've really appreciated the support and wisdom. here in the bar.

Jane,

Welcome, I'm glad you joined us in the bar.  I think it is even more active this year than last.

Good luck in the contest,

Chris

I'm going to get a little distance before I post my script.  I'm new and not very tough.  I am encouraged that that the tone of the critiques is positive..

Another reason for my not posting is that I don't have anywhere to post the script...  I'll need to work that out first...

Jane
Jane,

I hope you do decide to share it.  I think we all learn so much form each other that way.

Chris

p.s. A lot of people are using freeweb.com to host their scripts.
