Anyone have a hard time getting back to real like the Monday after a writing weekend?

I have to come to work and do work writing and stuff but I just want to read the forums, expand on my ideas and talk creative writing.

Anyone else?

Agreed! Although I have to admit, I'm a little creatively burned out today. Need a day or two to recharge--it was a loooong weekend!

I thought that would be, and it definitely was last night, but this morning I have an idea to turn my story into some serial short stories and I am raring to go on other projects!

Yeah, I keep feeling like I should be writing something! Like the round isn't truly over...

But I do feel inspired and like I could keep chugging away at some writing. In the meantime, I'm enjoying everyone's titles and synopses coming in. It was kind of like following everyone's specific journey on the forums (even if it was partially procrastination for me, shhh), so I have to say I'm a little addicted to these boards right now.

Definitely! The boards are what makes this contest what it is, and I had NO idea until after I joined. It is soooo much better than a Writer's Digest contest where you're in a vacuum for months, with no idea about the quality and inventiveness on display. This contest makes a very solitary pursuit into more a group project--which is wonderful!
