Just out of curiosity, what are the official judging criteria for the screenplays in the SPC?

I found this on the forums, but it relates to the SSC, I think:

15% Format (Adherence to paragraph #14, but not including Length)
15% Spelling and Grammar
70% Story (Writing, Originality, Character Development, and Plot Development)

The rules also mentioned point deductions for going over the word limit...

Does anyone know?

Pithy sayings are for the apt. For a longer message, you need a condo.

Interesting how spelling and grammar are worth less in the screenplay contest...

Any idea when the results will be announced?

July 19th, isn't it? At least that's what I remember reading. But who knows.

So technically, next Wednesday. And if history serves us right, Round 3 prompts (for those who make it) are handed out for the following weekend.

I'm getting nervous, to be honest.

Is it Tuesday night or Wednesday night? When do I need to stay up late? I'm never sure what they mean by the dates.

I'm not even remotely optimistic this round but it will be nice to bring things to closure.

And I'll be so damn tired from Round 1 of Flash Fiction, anyway. :) Bring on the prompts!

I believe that would be Wednesday night. And yeah, FF will have already taken its toll by then! I feel and share your anticipation of pain!

As for R2 results, I'm also with you. As much as I loved writing my screenplay, it doesn't seem to all be coming through as intended... I'll count it as "experience", I guess.
