Fade Out or Fade to Black both work, or at least I've never been corrected for them.

I believe "fade out" is considered "the end" in screenplays, so you don't ever actually need to write "the end"

I felt they were extremely fair. (TimG... No dashcam comments - score!) They pointed to the things that I personally liked about my script and called out the sections that either I waffled on, or that folks in the forum brought to my attention as well.

So overall, very balanced.

One point that perhaps you can help me on... One judge questioned why I put "The End" at, well, the end of my script, given that the story could have continued onward. I put it in there because I thought I had to from a formatting perspective. (Still learning here!) Do I need to do that? Or is "Fade Out" or "Fade to Black" sufficient.

In case you are interested, I posted comments up with my script. Smile
