"The Fifth Writer"

Mystery surrounded the NYC Midnight Short Screenplay Challenge.  Had the missing 5th writer fallen into a crater or were they still trying to wipe the effects of pepper spray from their eyes?

5 people who posted stories on the forum made the final, but I didn't do an activity analysis on each one so I don't know if they'll all post again. Also someone may decide to come out of the woodwork who wasn't on the forums for round 3/2 (what number the last round was seems to vary depending on the mood of the competition organisers!)

Best

@DBA

Crap, it was a crater and pepper SPRAY?

I just did a study of someone packing pepper into a crate.

LOL - I think I'm the lagging 5th :)
I hadn't gotten a single genre I'm comfortable in this whole time, so you bet your ass I went sci-fi - I figured it would be pretty popular, but it's where I work best. I think there's a bit of thriller in there too, but I'm not really sure if it's enough to count... and this title/logline - I had the damnedest time coming up with either one.

Winning the War
The Martian Envoy returns home after successfully negotiating an end to the Mars/Earth war, though not everyone is pleased with the terms. The leader of Free Mars is among them, but is he the one who wants her dead?

Oh you're all heart.  I did quite enjoy crime caper the one time I got that.  Sadly the judges didn't :)

So I've been told ;)  I had fun plotting the Crime Caper - it was putting it into a 5-page script that utterly sucked.

I'm really antsy to get reading all these. Hope they lift the embargo this evening.
