Ha. I don't know why I write so many additional pieces. I think it's because I write for a living, and if you show a client one option, most often they won't like it. If you give them something to compare, they naturally gravitate toward and choose one. I didn't expect my professional style and habits to interfere with what I call "personal" writing, but it does in so many ways. Like the quick turnaround (usually).

I only wrote one script this round and felt so weird about it! LOL

Nope, I just brainstorm the hell out of a few ideas, run them through my head from beginning to end, and pick the one that best balances my ability to write it within the parameters and potential quality.

I invest myself too much in the intricacies of actual writing to get into writing more than one script.
Stay Scary,

People do things differently. I usually get a good idea right away and run with it. Only a few times have I abandoned the premise and started over. (Yes, I know. That right there might be my problem.)d

The 2nd round script prompt was hard to figure out. It took about 12 hours for it to gel. And this latest FF round--man, I hated the prompt so much I didn't even start writing until the night before it was due.

Those FF prompts were ridiculous. As these contests grow ever larger, I think we'll see more crazy mashups.

Genre: Political Satire

Object: Rare Jalepeno

You have done a good deed: you have made me laugh. Thanks for that moment of hilarity.

I will bet you $10 this will be in the FF challenge R2. DOUBLE DOG DARE.

AND WE'LL BOTH BE IN THE SAME HEAT!

Glad to give you a chuckle, my friend. ;-)

Or try this utterly bizarre out-of-left-field-idea-that-no-one-would-think-of:

DRAMA
BEAUTY PAGEANT
CASH REGISTER

Funny, right? I mean, what kind of nonsense is that?

WAIT THAT IS MY PROMPT.
